Majority of people who can’t find the price of a product simply won’t buy it. We don’t have the time to ask a shop attendant the price of everything so we move on. Whether it is clothes, electronics or food you want to see the pricing to make a quick decision to purchase.
Food ticketing is a crucial part of your fresh food, deli, butcher, seafood, fruit and veg and many more displays.
What Type Of Food Ticket Is Right For You?
No matter what type of fresh food outlet you have we have the right type of food ticketing for your store. We carry two types of deli / butcher food tickets, standard food tickets and our spike tickets.
Standard Food Tickets: These tickets have a range of connectors to allow the ticket to be attached to trays or bowls or even to stand on their own.
Spike Tickets: have a spike incorporated into the ticket.
Standard Food Tickets and Accessories
On the bottom of a standard ticket is a little bulb which holds a Hinge Block. Once you have a Hinge Block connected on a ticket, you can then use one of our many accessories to display your ticket. We have tray clips available which the hinge block fits into allowing the tickets to attach directly to the bowl or tray. We also have either round or square bases which the hinge block fits into allowing the food ticket to be displayed free standing. We also have an extension rod available which allows you to raise the height of your ticket, which is very handy for the items displayed at the back of your cabinet. Our tickets have been used in the food industry for more than 25 years.
Using our standard food tickets with holes allows you to display your pricing using our push in numbers making it extremely quick and easy to change prices at the drop of a hat. The push in numbers are available in a range of colours to suit the printing on the tickets.
Food Ticket Toppers
As an add on to the food ticketing range we also have a huge range of Food Ticket Over Riders / Toppers. They clip onto the top of our standard food tickets and have a huge range of wording to choose from.
How to Label Your Food Tickets
The easiest, quickest and most attractive way to label food tickets is by using a Brother P-Touch electronic labeller. These label making machines produce a self-adhesive laminated label that is waterproof and extremely durable. You can use the P-Touch to produce the product name, description and/or price.
What Are Food Tickets Made Of?
All of our food tickets are made from polycarbonate plastic which is an extremely durable type of plastic. It is scratch and impact resistant and is virtually unbreakable. In addition, polycarbonate is extremely temperature resistant and won’t start degrading until temperatures get above 150 degrees Celsius.
How to Care For Your Food Tickets
Our food tickets are stain resistant so juices will just wipe away. Washing a ticket in warm soapy water should suffice, however if tickets do get covered in fat or oil, you can use isopropyl alcohol. However to keep your tickets in excellent condition, never use scourers or steel wool and avoid strong solvents such as acetone as this will react with the plastic removing the high gloss surface.
